Context
Everything that lives, dies. That's the one certainty we have in life. With over 8 billion people in the world, its easy to miss the beauty of the souls that pass by this earth. We get so caught up in our lives that we forget to slow down and open our eyes to the little things. Every little thought that our minds come up with, isn't it worth an audience?
We may not all agree or get along with each other. There can be brutality in humanity. There is good and there is evil in this world. Perhaps a lot of that could be solved if people weren't so intertwined with their own egos and were willing to show compassion and understanding to others. There's many shades of grey to this, but its inevitable amongst an intelligent species.
Most people are very set in their ways, and when presented with a different opinion they are immediately defensive. It's natural, it's a part of human nature. But we also have free will, so we can use that free will to free our minds of judgement, to will ourselves to hear others out.
I've lived my whole life being misunderstood, shutdown, not given a chance to express myself and being judged upon first sight. This is me giving myself a chance to show others the pieces of me I'm willing to tie to my name. Life is too short to be afraid of how others will treat me. I'm going to go through with my dream, consequences be damned.
This site will contain entries spanning from half-finished thoughts, to full-blown essays. The fear of putting in anything less than perfection has stopped me from accomplishing many feats in life. Therefore what you will find within these pages will be less than perfect.
Some may argue that we as people have too much of ourselves laid bare for strangers to perceive, and that we should all know less about each other. I would agree as well, if I didn't feel that I was an exception to that rule. I've been going about life, keeping me to myself. It would be a shame if I didn't share with someone else.
